Following the tour, I was given the opportunity to present about the planning, design and construction of the Transit Center. During the presentation, I outlined the extensive planning effort to define the location and project scope; the extensive value engineering effort associated with the project; and construction challenges that include maintaining access, limited laydown space, and utility and underground work.<\/p>\n<p>The project\u00a0includes the construction of a new 10,250-square-foot facility and covered canopy space.
