{"id":6236,"date":"2020-01-28T10:08:48","date_gmt":"2020-01-28T15:08:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pcconstruction.com\/blog\/?p=6236"},"modified":"2022-06-03T13:36:17","modified_gmt":"2022-06-03T17:36:17","slug":"pc-team-takes-founders-cup-at-vermont-ski-race","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pcconstruction.com\/news\/pc-team-takes-founders-cup-at-vermont-ski-race\/","title":{"rendered":"PC Team Takes Founder\u2019s Cup at Vermont Ski Race"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pcconstruction.com\/app\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Ski-2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6238 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/pcconstruction.com\/app\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Ski-2-e1654277771691.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"692\" height=\"443\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This past weekend, PC traded in work boots for ski boots at the inaugural Founder\u2019s Cup fundraiser for the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center.\u00a0As an executive sponsor for the event, PC fielded a team of racers to compete in the dual Giant Slalom race down the slopes of Stowe Mountain Resort. For PC, it was a bit like coming home with so much of the resort\u2019s landscape having been constructed by PC in previous years, including two venues for the event &#8211; the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center and the Spruce Peak Village Center.<\/p>\n<p>PC\u2019s race team, affectionately known as the \u201cPC Hammers\u201d were up against some stiff competition with teams including racers such as former Olympic gold medalist Picabo Street and current world cup racer Paula Moltzan, among many other notable racers. After a few training runs, the \u201cThe Hammers\u201d took their first run and then stepped it up a notch for their second run.
