PC committed more than $90,000 to hunger-related causes last year.<\/p>\n<p>For 2021, PC opted to move up its donations earlier in the year, so that the funding could be used to help support families with school-age children during the summer months, when free school lunch programs are either not available or are harder to access.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe pandemic\u2019s impact on American families is far from over, even as our economy starts to rebound and reopen,\u201d said Jay Fayette, President &amp; CEO of PC Construction. \u201cCOVID-related job and income losses are still taking a serious toll. Our team has always been committed to helping our neighbors, and we feel it\u2019s especially important at this critical time, when so many families are having trouble putting food on the table.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In Vermont, PC\u2019s 2021 donations will benefit the Vermont Foodbank, the South Burlington Food Shelf, Feeding Chittenden, and Hunger Free Vermont.
